                      Celebrating Women's History Month

As we begin the month of March, which also marks the beginning of Women's History Month, it is only fitting to honor the Republican women who serve among us. It was President Ronald Reagan who first issued a presidential proclamation designating March as Women's History Month, recognizing the invaluable contributions of women to the American family and to society.

As we celebrate Women's History Month, the National Federation of Republican Women will highlight some of our exceptional members, starting with Vivian Childs, a member of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women, and her powerful poem, "I am an American." We encourage all state federations to join us in recognizing the achievements of our Republican sisters and the significant impact they have had on our country.

Let us take this opportunity to honor and celebrate the Republican women who have helped shape our nation and continue to inspire us all.

Vivian believes there has been too little progress in the quality of life of the people of our great nation for far too long. She is eager to change this and see the people of America experience better lives by putting their priorities back on the forefront of their government's focus.
